SPECIAL EVENT: Community Shredding Event Fundraiser

This event is to help people wanting to downsize get prepared. We would like to help downsizers declutter their home by shredding as many unwanted documents for FREE! This event is also open to the community, our clients, and seniors.


We will be hosting an outdoor socially-distanced fundraiser. At this event, clients show up for their designated time slots with all their unwanted documents to shred. We will be collecting a cash donation towards our charity of choice, CHATS. The recommended donation amount is $10 per box. The suggested limit to bring is 6 bankers boxes.

Location has been confirmed: the south (small) parking lot at the Markham Village Recycling Depot.

CHATS is a not-for-profit organization, advocating for and delivering high-quality, person-centred home and community services to older adults and caregivers living in York Region and South Simcoe.
